Birch has a high stability – 3 units out of 4 possible. Stability is a characteristic expressing the ability of wood products to retain their size and shape with changing external conditions – temperature and humidity. This indicator is very important for products and elements of furniture made of wood, used in the kitchen. For comparison: stability of beech – 1 unit; maple, pine and ash – 2 units.
Birch has high physical and mechanical properties. Its wood is distinguished by its high strength, especially under impact loads. Marks from mechanical damage are less visible on items made of birch.
At high density, birch is easily amenable to different types of processing. This allows to place kitchen appliances of almost any shape in our platforms.
The birch is well processed, it does not chip, easy polished and painted and has the ability to hold paint for a long time.
Products made of birch not only beautiful and reliable, but also have antifungal and bactericidal properties.
